Who Is Eric Kodjoe, Boris Kodjoe s Father?

The father of Boris Kodjoe is a Ghanaian doctor named Eric Kodjoe. He was created on December 30, 1938. He is the son of Elsie and Joseph Cecil Ofuatey-Kodjoe, the chief of police. His mother couldn’t see. She had a cataract that had gone untreated, making her blind. Eric is a Ghanaian immigrant to the United States.

Eric Kodjoe has some trouble getting his name out there. Even as the anesthesiology director at his hospital, he had to endure constant racial taunts and harassment motivated by race because of the color of his skin. He contributed in many ways with his medical expertise. His skills were questioned by medical professionals, and patients even objected to his examinations.

Eric Kodjoe persevered in rescuing lives despite the abuse he endured from others. Ursula Kodjoe is a German psychologist with some Jewish ancestry who Eric met and wed. Their relationship’s specifics remain unknown. It’s unclear how they first connected with one another. Additionally, it is uncertain how and where they got married.

Three children were born to Ursula Kodjoe and Eric Kodjoe. Patrick Kodjoe, Nadja Kodjoe, Lara Kodjoe, and Boris Kodjoe are their kids. In 1979, Eric and Ursula divorced for unspecified reasons. Boris Kodjoe’s parents split when he was six years old. Boris started having an estranged relationship with his father when his parents divorced.

However, Boris Kodjoe and Eric Kodjoe were able to mend their differences. Boris traveled to Ghana, the country of his father. He traveled to Ghana to see his relatives there and to introduce his children to the country. He posted a photo of his family and wrote:

I got to see my relatives, catch up with cousins I hadn’t seen in 20 years, get to know others for the first time, and introduce my kids to individuals they had only heard about on my last day in Accra. It was a wonderful way to round off a fantastic trip to Ghana.

I also spotted some really old portraits of my grandmother hanging on the wall as I was surrounded by my family. She passed away 25 years ago, but I still clearly recall her sitting in her room when I was 10 and making comments about my clothes or encouraging me to make funny faces so she could laugh at them, which shocked me because she was blind.

On December 5th, 1901, Mrs. Elsie Ofuatey-Kodjoe was born. In order to help girls and young women realize their potential and become outspoken members of society who fight for equality, inclusion, and parity across gender boundaries, she was highly engaged in politics and even founded the Girl Guides of Ghana.

She was a stunning, powerful, and forward-thinking trailblazer who was one of my grandfather’s three marriages, a close friend of the honorable Kwame Nkrumah, and a sheep portrait photographer.

By coming together today and paying tribute to our deceased family members, we honored her.

The day was wonderful.
